Synopsis
After graduating from high school, the protagonist moved from one part-time job to another, hoping to earn some easy money and have fun doing what he loved.
One day, believing the promise of easy money, he jumped into a job as a university security guard. However, he found himself overwhelmed by the environment, working shifts with older people while being watched by students his age. He even thought to himself, “I’ll quit as soon as I have enough money to spend,” but he met security guards at his workplace who had a wealth of life experience. As he learned about their pasts and their words, his perspective on the world gradually shifted. He began to focus on themes such as “what is work?”, “what is life?”, and “the interconnectedness of life.”

The setting, set in a university security office, is interesting.
The fact that older people work there is also true to reality.
However, learning about the lives of the people gathered here seems to change the way we view the people in real security offices.
