Review
I discovered this novel through the TV drama.
The TV drama features characters who do not exist in the novel, and I prefer TV dramas to novels.
I find myself focusing on Kyoko as I read this novel. She allows the man she loves to leave for another woman. While there are some aspects of her actions that are difficult to understand, perhaps it was only because of Etsuko’s presence, facing death, and her trust in her husband, that she was able to do so.
I felt this novel allowed me to experience the height of love.
