Review

Have you ever seriously considered happiness?
What does happiness even mean?
Busy days, limited time, and before you know it…
Fumiya quit his job after just one month and began living in Minami Boso after the sudden news of his father’s death. He begins to reexamine his life through his interactions with various people and experiences.
This book will give you time to reflect on life and happiness.

When I started reading this book, I was initially struck by how similar it was to self-help books, to the works of Kitagawa Yasui.
I got the impression that it was the kind of book that would give people who are a little tired of today’s information society a chance to take a breather and reexamine their lives.
However, after reading the entire series, I felt that it also concerned the coexistence of humans and nature. This book made me think not only about the happiness of modern times with advanced civilization, but also about what it means for people to live alongside nature and the value of that existence.
